Today was our first day in Germany! We made the four and a half hour drive from Paris, France to Prum, Germany to visit my cousin Heather, who lives in, and works at a church, in Prum! It has been so great catching up with her and having her show us around Germany! We started the day off right with an amazing breakfast spread of food and coffee from Opulenzia Cafe! Fresh croissants, deli meats and cheeses and homemade tomato vanilla marmalade and kiwi marmalade! Not a bad way to start the day! Then we explored her town a bit before meeting back up at the market. Heather’s church actually had a booth setup at the market raising money for their Operation Christmas child boxes! 🙂 At the market we had german beer bratwursts with spicy mustard and the biggest and best plate of fried fish ever! After the market we hit the road to head to Monschau, Germany. This German city is filled with so much history and most of the structures pictured have not been changed for over 300 years! Such an amazing day! And tomorrow we head to see a German castle!! We can’t wait! 🙂
